Our Story

Mycotopia is an R&D-based company with a multidisciplinary team of academic researchers, scientists and communicators, experts in Microbiology, Mycology, Biotechnology, Circular economy, Environmental protection and Sustainability.

One of our main activities is the discovery and development of novel, Eco-friendly bio-materials based on agricultural waste and different fungal species. We have established cooperation with ProFungi laboratory at Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad.

Another research directions that we would like to point out are related to research of active compounds from fungi and their multiple applications in health and food industry.

Also, we have experience in communicating scientific findings and concepts to any kind of audience through various formats (articles, press releases, illustrations, videos, websites, social media, etc.); strategic planning; design and implementation of educational seminars; writing project proposals etc.
